Current Presentations

A major, 5,000+ metre drilling program is under way on Teuton's large Treaty Creek property, adjoining north-northeast of the emerging 20 million oz. gold, Sulphurets camp of Seabridge Gold and Silver Standard. Drilling on the Eureka zone is complete, and two drills are currently testing targets in the Copper Belle and GR2 zones. Drilling of the ND zone is imminent. The Copper Belle and ND zones are two new discoveries, exposed in 2007 due to meltback of the Treaty Glacier. The former zone features several sub-parallel stockworks of massive to semi-massive pyrite accompanied by chalcopyrite, galena and tetrahedrite, the latter chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite in a 5m wide quartz vein. American Creek is the operator and is providing funding pursuant to the terms of a $5 million option agreement with Teuton.

In August, Teuton and related company Silver Grail mobilized a drill to the Fiji property, adjoining due west of the exciting Homestake Ridge gold discovery of Bravo Ventures. Bravo has indicated it will carry out a 9,000 meter, multi-rig drill program in an attempt to expand a recently announced inferred resource containing 900,000 ounces of gold.

Both the Eureka and North Lake zones have some lithologic similarities to the nearby Eskay Creek high grade deposits.

Location

The Treaty Creek property is situated 20 kilometres east of the producing Eskay Creek Mine. Access is by helicopter from the Eskay Creek mine road to the northwest, or from the Cassiar-Stewart Highway to the east. The active Kerr-Sulphurets property of Seabridge Gold, currently under option to Falconbridge Gold, adjoins to the south.

Mineralized Showings

Treaty Gossan (Eureka-North Lake-Orpiment zones)

A 2 kilometre long by 600 to 1,000 metre wide zone of highly altered rocks forms a prominent "red-thumb" gossan in the central portion of the Treaty Creek property. Native sulfur and alunite have been found atop the height of land in the southern portion of the gossan. Further north, in an area exposed by retreating ice, 1993 trenching uncovered gold values ranging up to 0.095 oz/ton gold across 14.0 metres ( Eureka zone). Drilling in the Eureka in 1994 (six holes) and again in 1997 (2 holes) returned long intercepts of low-grade gold mineralization. The best of these holes ran 0.67 g/t gold over 74.7m (228 feet). Another hole cut a very long intercept of lower grade gold: 0.46 g/t over 169m. Anomalous gold values were also detected during a rock geochem survey (1980, 1991) in the North Lake area, several hundred metres north of the Eureka zone. Across Treaty Glacier at the northern extent of the gossan, trenching of the Orpiment zone (so-called because of locally abundant, large orpiment crystals) in 1993 also encountered anomalous gold values.

Abundant orpiment is rare in the Stewart area and is most notably found (other than at Treaty Creek) in certain of the deposits at Eskay Creek, now being mined by Barrick Gold. Other geological similarities between the two areas have been noted by geologists. In a 1996 geological report on the Treaty Creek property, Edward Grove, Ph.D., P.Eng., wrote: " Both the Eureka and north lake zones have some lithologic similarities to the nearby Eskay Creek high grade deposits ". Among these is the presence of pillow lavas. At Eskay Creek, pillow lavas occur stratigraphically above some of the mineral deposits; at Treaty Creek, pillow lavas occur above the altered suite of rocks hosting the gold anomalous zones in the Treaty Gossan area.

Southwest Nunatak & GR 2 Zones

The southwest nunatak is a narrow, 3 km long northeast trending rock exposure bounded by the Treaty Glacier and surrounding snowfields. It lies about 2 km west of the Treaty Gossan, the other main mineralized area on the property.

Five mineralized showings have been discovered along the length of the nunatak by prospecting since the property was first acquired. The first of these is the Konkin zone, from which surface chip and trench samples returned values up to 28.0 oz/ton gold over 1.3 metres in skarn-like rocks. About a hundred metres to the northeast, a broad zone of anomalous gold values occurs in andesite intruded by diorite, the so-called Goat Trail zone. Southerly, at the height of land, trenching of the AW and Ridge zone areas returned values up to 7.6 metres grading 0.457 oz/ton gold, 10.34 oz/ton silver, 1.05% copper, 4.70% lead and 0.87% zinc. Elevated gold-arsenic values were also along a 300 metre long, linear zone of alteration beginning at the extreme SW end of the nunatak, the Southwest zone. The Konkin, Goat Trail, AW, GR2 and Southwest zones have all been tested by drilling at various times, with mixed results.

History and Property Status

Prominent "red thumb" zones of alteration on the Treaty Creek property were first prospected in the late 1920's. This early work located mineralized float boulders but the remoteness of the property at the time precluded detailed follow-up.

Teuton first acquired the claims by staking in 1983. From 1984-88, Teuton prospectors identified several gold anomalous areas, mostly along a nunatak lying within the southwestern portion of the property. In 1989, prompted by the Eskay Creek discovery, the property was optioned to Tantalus Resources, a Prime Resources group company. From 1989-1992 Tantalus spent approximately $1.5 million exploring the claims, discovering several new zones of interest including the AW, Ridge, GR-2, Ball Pyrite and Orpiment zones. After the property was returned to Teuton in 1993, Company personnel discovered the new Eureka gold-silver zone at the edge of Treaty Glacier. This led to an option with Homestake Canada , operator of the Eskay Creek mine. Homestake drilled six holes into the Eureka Zone in 1994 before returning the property to Teuton the following year. In 1997 the property was again optioned to a VSE listed company called Global Explorations. Global drilled 7 holes testing three separate areas of the property. Although encouraging results were obtained, Global decided not to continue with the option.

In 2002, the Treaty Creek property was optioned to Glenfred Holdings Inc., a private company later wholly acquired by TSX-Venture listed Heritage Explorations Ltd. (which latter company has now been amalgamated with St. Andrew Goldfields). Work undertaken by Heritage since entering into the option included: incorporation of all historical data on Treaty Creek exploration into the proprietary Geoinformatics computer modeling programs; a reconnaissance stream sediment survey; drilling of a single diamond drill hole into a target identified in a previously untested area of the property (this hole was not successful); and, completion of an airborne geophysical survey. Heritage returned the property to Teuton in early 2006.
