The Tennyson property has excellent potential to host porphyry gold-copper mineralization of the type now being explored by Seabridge Gold and Silver Standard on their Sulphurets area properties 15km to the north. Vein-type gold-silver mineralization also exists on the property.
From 1985 to 1992, approximately $700,000 was spent on the Tennyson, mostly funded by optionees. Teuton is currently seeking a partner to carry out further work on the property.

Location
The Tennyson property is located 6 km due west of the former Granduc Mines millsite, approximately 50 km by road from Stewart, British Columbia.

History and Property Status
The property was staked by Teuton Resources in 1985 to cover a prominent gossan exposed by receding snow and icefields. A small work program the same year showed widespread anomalous gold, copper, lead and zinc content in talus fines and rock geochem samples. In 1986 the property was optioned to Cons. BRX which drilled six 150m. Later, the same year, the property was re-optioned to Westlake Res. and again in 1988 to Catear/Keylock Resources. These companies collectively drilled another 14 holes. All of these drill programs concentrated on finding epithermal-type gold-silver mineralization within the central, highly altered area of the property. The property was returned to Teuton in 1991 after Catear/Keylock ran into financial difficulties and could not continue with work commitments.
In 1992 Teuton carried out a 5 hole program, mainly testing a porphyry copper-gold target exposed by receding snow near the northwest edge of the gossan. All three holes into the porphyry target returned encouraging copper-gold values.
From 1993 on little work was done on the property, but in 2006 Teuton flew an Aeroquest geophysical survey over the property. This survey disclosed a sharp magnetic anomaly in the southeast portion of the central gossan where high copper values had been previously sampled from skarn-like rocks.

Porphyry Copper-Gold Target
In 1991, chalcopyrite and pyrite were noted in an outcrop of altered feldspar porphyry during prospecting of a zone of ablation at the northwestern edge of the Tennyson gossan. A 26m trench over part of this new exposure returned a weighted average grade of 0.35% copper and 0.017 opt gold. Three holes drilled into the target from the same set-up in 1992 returned similar values. The third hole returned the best values: 0.33% Cu and 0.35 g/t Au over 99.1m. A review of drill log data suggests that this drilling may have been in the outer pyritic halo of a typical copper-gold porphyry system. If so, higher grades could be expected once within the actual core of the system.
The Kerr deposit of Seabridge Gold, located about 22 km to the north, is a local example of the type of target being explored for on the Tennyson property. The Kerr deposit has been modelled by former owner Placer Dome as a copper-gold porphyry system with total measured, indicated and inferred resources estimated at 140.8 million tonnes grading 0.75% copper (2.3 billion pounds of copper) and 0.36 grams of gold (1.6 million ounces of gold) per tonne at a 0.40% copper grade cut-off. Approximately 52% of the total Kerr resource is within 50 metres of a drill intercept and has been classified by Placer Dome as drill-indicated.
Epithermal Targets
Prospecting, trenching, and drilling have identified several gold-silver mineralized areas within the Tennyson gossan which have epithermal characteristics. Potential for high-grade epithermal mineralization is indicated by float and surface sampling (values up to 3.0+ oz/gold per ton), and by drill intercepts. Hole 1986-4 intersected 1.2 oz/ton in gold over a 2.1m interval marked by pervasive clay alteration and hydrothermal brecciation. One of six short holes drilled in 1988 contained an interval grading 0.406 oz/ton gold across 3.1m.
East of the gossan on the other side of a prominent fault, an intrusive body outcrops which has been compared by several geologists to the Premier Porphyry, the intrusive associated with the famous Premier Gold mine.
